One intake format, one meter, one job page. Here is the whole path.

1Send a Signal Check

Up to 5 Gsamples of BLOW5 signal, your sampling rate, an optional reference and up to three targets. Free. Non-human data: nothing to sign, just the request form.

2Get a verdict

We tell you one of three things:

  • A — decodes as-is.You receive the full result set on the subset you sent, including any target calls. You can order a Decode Run or a Specified Search Run right away.
  • B — needs a calibration set.We send you a written spec: which control to sequence on your own instrument, how many labelled reads, in what form. You sequence it, we calibrate. No physical material comes to us.
  • C — needs an alphabet extension.Your signal contains symbols our codebook doesn't have yet. We outline a project.

3Receive an offer

We reply personally within one working day. The offer states scope, price, and the turnaround for your job. Institutions receive invoice terms; details on the pricing page.

4Upload

You convert your data to BLOW5 on your side (see the BLOW5 guide) and upload with one command using scoped credentials that work only for your job. We verify checksums, remove the attributes your instrument's software wrote into the file headers, and tell you what we received — with a checksum of every file as you sent it and as we hold it.

5Results

Your job page shows status, outputs, the search report if you ordered one, the audit record and the viewer. Everything is downloadable with signed links.

6Deletion

Raw signal is deleted 30 days after delivery, results 90 days after delivery (12 months if you extend retention for repeat searches). You receive a deletion receipt. Earlier deletion on request.

One meter

Every job is billed on the number of signal samples in your files, in billions (Gsamples). It doesn't matter what your sampling rate is or how your files are compressed — we count signal samples, not bytes, and a file size does not tell you the count. Enter the file size or the signal sample count if your converter reports it; we verify the exact number from the headers on receipt and before the job runs. What a Gsample is, exactly.

One intake format

We accept BLOW5 (and its text form SLOW5) — nothing else. It is an open, vendor-neutral container for raw signal with the sampling rate and digitisation parameters in the header. One format keeps our contract with you simple and auditable.
